Storybook Inspired Dolls...

Here are some fun looking Verity Hope girls which I have just finished.

Like many of my creations, they were inspired by various illustrations in old storybooks.  It's hard to pick one illustration, I think they sort of encapsulate everything I like about the 'Golden Age of Illustration'. So here they are:

Meet Eva...

Meet Matilda...

Meet Maude...

 Meet Pinkie...

Each doll has a golden hang loop so they can be hung up to bring cheer to any room or work space!

I've placed these little characters in the Verity Hope doll shop and have promised them that they will all find homes.  They know they may not all end up together and their only request is that a pen and paper can be provided with an envelope and three stamps each so they can all keep in touch with one another.  They don't ask for much else, just to be loved and cherished.
