Meet 'Clarabelle'...

Meet 'Clarabelle'...

Often found at the top of the meadow mist as she whispers softly through the breeze, her sweet words of encouragement to Verity Hope and her meadow friends...

‘The family live on a lavender farm,
A quaint little place holding whimsical charm,
With each flowers’ bloom that carpets the land
A lifetime of dreams can slowly expand…

‘At break of each ay a quiet prayer is said,
For plentiful harvest through long days ahead,
Such work is a joy with humble rewards,
The pleasure of working together outdoors….

A princess of herbs whose medicinal charm
Wafts over the senses to lure and to calm,
For lavenders’ rich not only in hue,
Her pureness of oils providing a clue.

I used a high grade all wool yarn for Clarabelle and her meadow friend's wire wrapped bodies as well as silken embroidery yarns...

Each has a little basket of hand picked wild flowers from their beloved meadow walks...

Her face is delicately hand embroidered with fine eye detail...

Later on this year I may be releasing Clarabelle
as an embroidered doll making kit...
