I couldn't resist making a few little Kazuko dolls...
Kazuko was born in Tokyo but her family moved to the beautiful, harmonious farming region of Kyoto when she was only 9 months, so it is Kyoto where her heart home is and always will be.
Kazuko met Verity Hope whilst on a study trip to Provence and ended up staying at her family's 'Pension' for a short while. They have remained in contact ever since and now even Skype!
Perhaps Kazuko will come back to visit the region again one day or maybe Verity Hope will make a trip to Japan!
Kazuko means 'harmonious child' or to break it down: (kazu) "one" or (kazu) "harmony" combined with (ko) "child".
