Verity Hope dolls...

The beautiful Summer days we've had over the past few months here in England have been a welcome blessing after the rather long, extended and non existent Spring and with this second surge of Autumn warmth, it's the perfect time to start work on some more miniature Verity Hope dolls and friends.

The garden has been the studio and the birds provided the music...

...as stitch after stitch, Verity Hope and her chums slowly revealed themselves. The face of each doll is individually hand embroidered, giving each little character their own individual charm:

You may have already met Amelie who was the first little doll to be made...
She's a humble 3" high and still growing. She asked to be photographed standing next to this lovely carrot that won first prize at a country show a few weeks ago...plenty more to come there!

Here's a quick preview of the latest line up of Verity Hopes...
And who is that sneaking in on the right? It is of course Pipi Lapin, younger sister of Fabien Lapin...

Each little miniature doll comes with an inspirational little poem as a keepsake and a few other goodies...

I'm currently writing Verity Hope's book of poems but I can't tell you too much about that at the moment... X

Verity Hope and her friends will be for sale in due course.
